Well, just as it builds character to draw sequential art, drawing pinups is good for the soul.  So this is a piece I've done recently for the Tsunami Channel Weekly Drawing Contest.  Its Samurai week - hai!

Kyuba no Buta "The Way of the Bow and Pig" is a twist on the more well-known Kyuba no Michi "The Way of the Bow and Horse".  One of the core skills of the Samurai is Kyudo "Archery".  So me being me, I decided to design a PiggyHunter Samurai.  There's a lot of really cool Kyudo bows out there on the web, but they're mostly footman bows, meaning they are really honking big.

And yes - gratuitous extra piggy included. 

On the left is the initial concept sketch I drew of the character.  I pretty much had Kojiro from The Last Blade 2 in mind, but I wanted to do armor, not robes.
